Susan is a legal technologist and founder of BackedMe- a design platform helping mediators solve conflict with chatbot. She received training in advanced commercial mediation by the New York Unified Courts, and began her journey with dispute resolution at the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, Lagos branch. She has worked with non-profit organizations, schools and companies in promoting the use of mediation. She is the first-ever LLM Editor for Penn State Arbitration law review (’18), a former Chair for the committee of media and strategic communication at the Baltimore Community Mediation center and a Board nominee for the Association of Conflict resolution-greater New York Chapter. Her education includes a continued education with Columbia University, school of Professional Studies where she took a year to study the science of Negotiation and Conflict Resolution, She holds a masters of law degree from Penn State Law, and a bachelors of law from Babcock University.
